Licence terms

1. The software

Our WordPress themes and plugins are released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later, the same licence as WordPress. The GPL covers the code. Your licence key covers our services: updates, support and access to the theme settings.

2. What a licence key gives you

• Use on the number of live websites in your plan (usually one).
• Free use on test copies: localhost, .local, .test, staging. and dev. addresses do not use a site slot.
• One-click updates and support for the period shown on your invoice (for example one year), or for life if your plan says lifetime.
• Access to the theme settings while the licence is active on your site.

3. After the update period ends

Your website keeps working with the version you have. New versions and support stop until you renew. Renewing continues from your current end date.

4. Moving or changing websites

You can move a licence to a new domain at any time by deactivating it on the old site and activating it on the new one. If you can no longer reach the old site, contact us and we will free the slot.

5. Sharing and misuse

Licence keys are for the buyer only. We may disable a key that is shared publicly, used on more sites than the plan allows, or bought with a payment that is reversed. A disabled key stops updates and locks the settings; your website content is never touched.

6. Support

Support covers installing, setting up and using the product, and fixing bugs in it. It does not cover custom design or code changes, third-party plugins, or hosting problems, though we are happy to quote for custom work.

7. Refunds

If the product does not work on your site and we cannot fix it, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund. When a refund is made the licence key is disabled.

8. Data we receive

When you activate or check for updates, your site sends its address, site name, product version, WordPress and PHP version, and language. We use this only to manage your licence and plan future updates, and we never sell it.
